Welchii Dogwood is a variegated leaf tree that grows to about 20′ tall. Deciduous, oval foliage has green centers and white edges, sprinkled with red, thus its common name “Tricolor”. Leaves turn red in fall. Pink or white flowers appear in spring but are considered inconspicuous.
